Alexandra Vázquez

Alexandra Vázquez

Alexandra Vázquez is an Associate Professor at the Department of Social and Organizational Psychology at UNED (Spain). She received her Ph.D. in 2012 from UNED and undergraduate degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Her research interests are focused on intergroup and intragroup relations, identity fusion and collective action.

Sandra Chiclana

Sandra Chiclana, Ph.D. in Psychology (2020), is Head of Services in the General Secretary of Penitentiary Institutions, Spanish Ministry of the Interior, and Adjunct Professor at the Department of Social and Organizational Psychology at UNED. Her research currently focuses on interpersonal violence, radicalisation, hate crimes and female inmates.

Eva Moreno-Bella

Eva Moreno-Bella is an Assistant professor at the Department of Social and Organizational Psychology at UNED. She received her Ph.D. in Psychology in 2021 from the University of Granada (Spain). Her research interests are focused on economic and social inequality, social perception, morality, political participation, and intergroup relations.

Juana Chinchilla

Juana Chinchilla is a Research Coordinator of MULTIPREV. She received her Ph.D. in Psychology in 2022 from UNED (Spain). Her research interests are focused on morality, identity fusion, and non-normative collective action.

Celia Serrano-Montilla

Celia Serrano-Montilla is a postdoctoral researcher of MULTIPREV. She received her Ph.D. in 2022 from University of Granada. Her research focuses broadly on psychometrics, test development and adaptation, and violence against women. She is interested in the current methodological trends in the analysis, assessment, and evaluation applied to the study of social issues.

Laura Rodríguez-Gómez

Laura Rodríguez-Gómez is a postdoctoral researcher of the MULTIPREV project. She received her Ph.D. in Psychology in 2023 from the University of La Laguna (Spain). Her research interests are focused on dehumanization bias, morality and the influence of physical environment, emotional expression and social media on social cognition.

Mercedes Martínez

Mercedes Martínez received her PhD in 2022 from UNED. Subsequently, she was awarded a Margarita Salas grant for a national research stay at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and is now a Postdoc researcher at UNED. Her research interests are focused on identity fusion and metacognition.

Hend Bautista

Hend Bautista is a Research Assistant and a doctoral candidate at the Dpt. of Social and Organizational Psychology at UNED (Spain). She received her Master’s degree in Research in Psychology from UNED in 2021 and has also collaborated for years in intercultural/interreligious projects with the UNESCO Association for Interreligious Dialogue (AUDIR).

Laura Blanco

Laura Blanco is a Research Assistant in the MULTIPREV project and a doctoral candidate at UNED. She received her degree from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 2019, where she specialized in Forensic and Penitentiary Psychology, and a Master’s degree in Methodology applied to Health and Behavioural Sciences at UNED in 2022.

Beatriz Alba

Beatriz Alba Langreo is a Research Assistant in the MULTIPREV project and a doctoral candidate at UNED. She received her degree from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 2018, where she specialized subsequently in analysis and research in the criminal field. She has finished a Master’s degree in research in psychology specializing in social psychology at UNED in 2022.

Irene Barón

Irene Barón is a Research Assistant and a doctoral candidate with a degree in Psychology from Complutense University of Madrid and a Master’s Degree in Legal and Forensic Psychology. She has participated in research projects for the UNED, the Ministry of the Interior and Penitentiary Institutions with topics such as gender violence, feminicides, violent radicalization and filicides.

Naroa Carrasco is a Research Assistant and a doctoral candidate with a degree in Psychology from Complutense University of Madrid and a Master’s Degree in Legal and Forensic Psychology from Universidad de Granada. She has participated in research projects for the Ministry of the Interior, the Penitentiary Institutions and UNED with topics like: gender violence, violent radicalization, filicides and feminicides.

Sara Rodríguez Fregenal

Sara Rodríguez Fregenal

Sara Rodríguez Fregenal is a PhD student at UNED. She received her degree from Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 2020. Afterwards, she finished a Master’s degree in Mediation, negotiation and conflict resolution at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in 2022. She is specialized in cross-cultural mediation. Her research interests are focused on group dynamics, migration, and conflict management.

Jaime Muñoz

Jaime Muñoz is a Research Assistant in Ángel Gómez’ NYU Abu Dhabi project. He received his degree from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, where he specialized subsequently in Psychological Intervention in Crisis and Emergency Situations. He has experience in the field of social intervention and Penitentiary Institutions, and is currently enrolled in a Master’s degree in research in social psychology at UNED.

Borja Paredes is a social psychologist holding a Tenure Track position at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. His research is mainly focused around three areas, namely; persuasion and attitude change, different forms of social and personal identities, and extreme pro-group behavior.

Lucía López-Rodríguez is an Associate Professor at the Department of Psychology at University of Almería, where she received her Ph.D. in 2013. Her research interests are focused on the underlying psychosocial processes for the improvement of intergroup relations and the factors that favor or hinder social change and extreme behavior.

Roberto Muelas Lobato

Roberto is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Social Sciences at University of Burgos. He received his Ph.D. in Social Psychology in 2019 from the University of Granada (Spain). His research interests are focused on social identity, radicalization processes, political violence, and terrorism.
