Senior Research Associates

Alexandra Vázquez
Alexandra Vázquez is an Associate Professor at the Department of Social and Organizational Psychology at UNED (Spain). She received her Ph.D. in 2012 from UNED and undergraduate degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Her research interests are focused on intergroup and intragroup relations, identity fusion and collective action.
Sandra Chiclana
Sandra Chiclana, Ph.D. in Psychology (2020), is Head of Services in the General Secretary of Penitentiary Institutions, Spanish Ministry of the Interior, and Adjunct Professor at the Department of Social and Organizational Psychology at UNED. Her research currently focuses on interpersonal violence, radicalisation, hate crimes and female inmates.

Postdocs
Celia Serrano-Montilla
Celia Serrano-Montilla is a postdoctoral researcher of MULTIPREV. She received her Ph.D. in 2022 from University of Granada. Her research focuses broadly on psychometrics, test development and adaptation, and violence against women. She is interested in the current methodological trends in the analysis, assessment, and evaluation applied to the study of social issues.


Eva Moreno-Bella
Eva Moreno-Bella is a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Social and Organizational Psychology at UNED. She received her Ph.D. in Psychology in 2021 from the University of Granada (Spain). Her research interests are focused on economic and social inequality, social perception, morality, political participation, and intergroup relations.

Hend Bautista
Hend Bautista is a Research Assistant and a doctoral candidate at the Dpt. of Social and Organizational Psychology at UNED (Spain). She received her Master’s degree in Research in Psychology from UNED in 2021 and has also collaborated for years in intercultural/interreligious projects with the UNESCO Association for Interreligious Dialogue (AUDIR).


Laura Blanco
Laura Blanco is a Research Assistant in the MULTIPREV project and a doctoral candidate at UNED. She received her degree from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 2019, where she specialized in Forensic and Penitentiary Psychology, and a Master’s degree in Methodology applied to Health and Behavioural Sciences at UNED in 2022.
Beatriz Alba
Beatriz Alba Langreo is a Research Assistant in the MULTIPREV project and a doctoral candidate at UNED. She received her degree from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 2018, where she specialized subsequently in analysis and research in the criminal field. She has finished a Master’s degree in research in psychology specializing in social psychology at UNED in 2022.


Naroa Carrasco
Naroa Carrasco is a Research Assistant and a doctoral candidate with a degree in Psychology from Complutense University of Madrid and a Master’s Degree in Legal and Forensic Psychology from Universidad de Granada. She has participated in research projects for the Ministry of the Interior, the Penitentiary Institutions and UNED with topics like: gender violence, violent radicalization, filicides and feminicides.
Irene Barón
Irene Barón is a Research Assistant and a doctoral candidate with a degree in Psychology from Complutense University of Madrid and a Master’s Degree in Legal and Forensic Psychology. She has participated in research projects for the UNED, the Ministry of the Interior and Penitentiary Institutions with topics such as gender violence, feminicides, violent radicalization and filicides.

Lucía López Rodríguez
Lucía López-Rodríguez is an Associate Professor at the Department of Psychology at University of Almería, where she received her Ph.D. in 2013. Her research interests are focused on the underlying psychosocial processes for the improvement of intergroup relations and the factors that favor or hinder social change and extreme behavior.

Mercedes Martínez
Mercedes Martínez received her PhD in 2022 from UNED. Subsequently, she was awarded a Margarita Salas grant for a national research stay at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and has been a researcher and professor at this university since the beginning of 2023. Her research interests are focused on identity fusion and metacognition.
